D&G Menswear For Women, a Revelation

Who knew that women would be wearing high class designer suits? Well, clearly, Dolce and Gabbana was one step ahead of everyone (as usual :). When I saw these outfits, I was extremely surprised. Not many people can achieve these looks and still make them look feminine. The detailed tailoring of the jackets is really spectacular. Just see for yourself! J'adore the vest on the third girl.
I can see women wearing suits, but I hope that I will never see a man in a dress....awkward! The way the pants are flared at the top and skinny at the bottom is very dynamic. They would look good from any angle, even on the red carpet. Well, I must go for now. Until then, keep posting!

I have found my next victim...Alexander Mcqueen spring 2010! Most of you, I'm sure, have already heard about his death.

Based on this collection, he is very much alive.

The yellow and black pants are stunning. I want a pair so badly! Haha, the bright colors really stand out. I especially love the shoes on the third outfit. Fashion genius if you ask me. He was also known to make his models wear really tall shoes on the runway. Just look!

I just feel bad for those models! I mean look at them, talk about
10 inch heels. They just look painful, but I guess it does hurt to be beautiful! My next collection awaits. Until then, keep posting! :)

“In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different." ~Coco Chanel (the ultimate icon) I think to be different one must pursue the unthinkable. When I saw the new spring collection by Oscar De La Renta, I saw the unthinkable. Literally, his work is astounding.
I love the color with the different textures. The two words that would come into my head would be bright and elegant. Simply blows my mind that someone would come up with these styles.
I now must go to look for some more clothes! Until then, keep posting (even though I have no followers, haha)

I'm Going Versace Crazy, Holy Atelier!

Hello again everyone, after searching a little while I have found the ultimate red carpet gown in Atelier Versace. Just look at the draping of the purple duchess silk (left). Can I say Greek Goddess? Haha. This season I was blown away by the unique styles of these dresses. I absolutely adore the feather detailing on the blue dress (above). I think the colors give the dresses the extra W-O-W! factor. Wouldn't you agree?
This gold dress is flawless. For most fair skinned people, gold is not usually the first color we would pull out of our closets. This gown, however, has such a nice tone that anyone could pull it off. You guys are witnessing miracle-working at its finest! It doesn't get better than Atelier by Versace. I'm going to hunt down more designers. Until then, keep posting!

Spring 2010- Latest Updates From the Designers

Hey everyone reading this! (which might not be too many people:)
This spring season the fashion world is being hit by new designers, new looks, and new ideas. My personal favorite is the Chanel 2010 collection. Look at the volume and dynamics of these clothes. It's pretty innovative if you ask me. Shoulder pads and ruffles are coming back! Then again, doesn't everything come back after it goes out of style? Haha. Now I am extremely impressed with Marc Jacobs this season. Between the bold colors and the crazy prints, he somehow managed to make it work! (Yes, I do occasionally quote Tim Gunn. Project Runway rules:) As crazy as it sounds, I've always wanted a headband like that! The blue one is my favorite. Well, I'm going to dig up the next styles, but no worries. I'll be back soon with the latest trends. Until then, please leave some comments!
